Etransport Services
eTransport is a government regulated fare payment system that requires the travelling public to pay their bus fare through an electronic means. From 1st of October, 2017, passengers on public buses are no longer allowed to pay their bus fare using cash. Cash fare has been completely replaced with an electronic ticketing system.
Epay Role

A non-exclusive Distributor of Vodafone to distribute the Equipment to the Sub-Distributors and Retailers in Fiji for the supply of eTransport Card Top-Up Services to the general public.

Distribute the E-Value to the sub distributors and to capable retail agents to facilitate eTransport Card Top-Up Services and to thus manage such processes on a non-exclusive basis.

Newman thus manages the provision of eTransport Card Top-Up Services by Sub-Distributors and Retailers.

E-Ticketing Equipment means the E-Ticketing Point of Sale Terminal which system is utilised to credit E-Value to eTransport Cards.

eTransport Card Top-Up Services means the process of crediting E-Value to eTransport Cards by utilizing the Equipment upon receipt of monetary consideration from the holders of the eTransport Cards.
