The fast-moving mobile phone market has changed dramatically in recent years and the advent of prepaid mobile phones has resulted in phenomenal industry growth worldwide. Newman is the market leader in Fiji, providing mobile phone network operators and prepaid customers with a new and improved means of recharge top-up.
Printed paper and plastic vouchers are now being replaced by electronic recharge and Newman offers the entire solution for retailers entering this market. We provide prepaid mobile services across several points of sale in leading retail outlets. Mobile operators and retailers are moving to electronic recharge services to reduce distribution costs and to eliminate fraud.
We provide a small, simple to operate terminal. Compact but powerful, it provides e-Voucher services for local mobile Networks, eradicating the need for physical stock. The terminal is designed with extensive security features and provides detailed management reports from the terminal itself and Service Providers/Business Partners web-based reporting system.

M-PAiSA is a Vodafone Money Transfer Service that enables users to send and receive money anywhere in Fiji using Vodafone or Inkk cell phone. Users can also receive money from Overseas. M-PAiSA provides an instant, secure, affordable and convenient means to sending & receiving money to any cell phone anywhere in Fiji and is available to every registered subscriber on the Vodafone network, whether on Prepay or Postpay or Inkk. In addition to money transfer, MPAiSA users also have the access to QR Pay, bill payments, mobile recharge, mobile data, hire purchase payments and many more.
Newman being the Premium Distributor of Vodafone is responsible for providing and distribute the Equipment and MPAiSA evalue to the Sub-Distributors and capable Retail agents to facilitate MPAiSA Services.
eTransport is a government regulated fare payment system that requires the travelling public to pay their bus fare through an electronic means. From 1st of October 2017, passengers on public buses are no longer allowed to pay their bus fare using cash. Cash fare has been completely replaced with an electronic ticketing system.
As a Distributor of Vodafone, Newman provides and distributes the Equipment and MPAiSA Evalue to the Sub-Distributors and Retailers in Fiji for the supply of eTransport Card Top-Up Services to the general public.
Freedomfones is the only Authorized Vodafone Business Services Dealer.
This division of E-pay actively markets and signs Business Customers onto Vodafone Corporate Solutions. Major products include Mobile Voice, Data, Group Call services and Mobile Broadband. The company also signs Mobile Contracts to bind Vodafone Customers and control Device Subsidies.
A partnership between the HFC Bank, Vodafone Fiji, the Pacific Financial Inclusion Programme (PFIP) and Newman. HFC Bank developed its technology platform and integrated with Vodafone’s M-PAiSA mobile wallet to provide agency and mobile banking service. This allows customers to carry out transactions either via Vodafone Fiji’s mobile network, or through Newman’s point of service (POS) machines available in Vodafone, Mr Mobile and Valuefone outlets (non-bank retail outlets offering banking and payment services).
Customers will be able to withdraw, deposit, transfer funds, make payments and point of sale purchases. Agency banking has the means to penetrate underserved areas, increasing the access to, and availability of, financial products and services without having to invest in ‘bricks and mortar’ bank branch infrastructure. Newman agents will act as ATMs, delivering financial services using devices such as Smart point-of-sale (POS) terminals.
